Hopefully everyone is enjoying the summer and a break from Basketball. Or, that you’re enjoying working on your game ready for next year! Speaking of next year, the deadline for team entry to the Men’s Somerset league is approaching fast.
We are looking forward to next season and we hope once again to be running the Senior Men’s Somerset League. Teams are asked to contact the league and inform us of your intentions for next year.
With just four games left to play in the 2016/17 SBL there is still potential for changes in the table. Bridgwater Baltics are poised to steal second place from Huish Hornets and could still be champions if they win their last 3 games!
Huish Hornets played their final league game of the season on Thursday 9 February when they hosted Team BC Bucs at Richard Huish College in Taunton. A Huish victory would see them go top of the league with a 7 win, 3 loss record.
The fixture between Bucs and Baltics scheduled for Friday 25 November 2016 at Bridgwater College has been cancelled due to official availability. The league will attempt to rearrange this fixture as soon as possible.
