Huish Tigers have a lot of events taking place over the next couple of months and we’d like to get the following information to all members and encourage any players interested in attending to register online.

Tigers Juniors 2019 selection and assessment

Saturday 18th May and Saturday 6th July 2019

The next step on the pathway, this is a celebration of the Somerset Basketball club’s successes. Our first selection day is Saturday 18th May. Players can find more information and register online for the day at Tigers selection and assessment.

Tigers Men 2019 selection and assessment days

Saturday 18th May and Saturday 6th July 2019, 4pm — 6pm

We have a new coach in Matt Nolan after the fantastic job by Richard Anderson who has stepped down. We are building a squad that will look to compete for the Division 4 league with a key emphasis on promoting young players. If you know of players who would be interested, they can find more information and register online at Tigers Men selection and assessment.

Girls basketball morning

Wednesday 29th May 2019, 10am — 1pm

After the success of our first taster day we now are able to offer our second taster morning. The eventual aim of this project is to run a programme parallel to the boys but first we need to grow the interest. Find more information and register online at Girls basketball taster morning.

Tigers Mini Camp

Tuesday 28th May 2019, 10am – 3pm

Our camps have been hugely successful providing 6 – 12 years old the opportunity to develop a love of the game. We have lots of volunteers from across the Tigers age teams coaching and making the day a positive experience for the young ballers! Find more information and register online at Tigers Minis camp.

Level 2 referees course

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2019, 9am – 5pm

I cannot emphasise enough the importance of this course! As a community we must do everything we can for the development of referees so that the game grow. Please do everything you can to get players on to this course. Level 1 or previous refereeing experience is not required. For more information and to sign up visit Level 2 referees course.
