The site gives players, teams, officials and anyone else involved in Somerset Basketball a way to quickly and easily see the latest competition results and fixtures. It will improve the opportunity for engagement from clubs and make league administration and communication more efficient.

The structure is based around competitions, made up of matches between teams. Competition pages (for example 2015/16 SBL) show league tables alongside full listings of matches ordered by date. Match pages provide full details of a fixture.

Team pages (such as Bridgwater Baltics) have all the details for a team, a full history of fixtures they’ve played including latest results, any upcoming matches, team records by competition and all match results by competition. There are pages for each venue and each official that show relevant matches grouped by competition.

The design delivers neutral clarity whilst being information dense. You can see more detail about a match in a table view by clicking on the score. This includes a breakdown of quarters and match scoresheets (when provided). Match pages also show a full history between two teams.

You’ll find the site intuitive to navigate with plenty of detail to be explored. At launch there are results going back to 2012/13 and all future competitions will be added going forward. There will also be regular updates posted, with news and information.
